2010 World Cup in Port Elizabeth 5
Star Accommodation
Hitgeheim
Country Lodge is ideally situated to combine the 2010
FIFA World Cup Soccer Experience with a 5
Star
African Safari Experience. We are a
mere 72 km from Port Elizabeth Airport and 61 km from
the Nelson Mandela Bay Soccer Stadium.
Hitgeheim
Country Lodge offers the discerning traveller and
spectator luxury bed and breakfast or fully catered accommodation without any
noise or discomfort of crowded public areas that a city
such as Port Elizabeth offers. We are less than an hour's drive from the Nelson
Mandela Stadium, making it convenient for you to make
use of our transfer services to/from the Nelson Mandela
Stadium.
Should you
wish to rather enjoy the tranquillity of Hitgeheim than
challenging the soccer crowds in Port Elizabeth, we
shall make sure that you are treated to fine cuisine and
award-winning wines while enjoy watching the soccer
match in a typical South African homely atmosphere in
front of the fireplace.
We are the
perfect wildlife getaway between matches and within easy
reach of Cape Town and the Garden Route. A three night
stay in winter is recommended because of the short days.
Unlike any other Game Lodges, Wildlife / Safari and National Parks, we
showcase mainly Addo Elephant Park where the best
sightings are in the heat or warmest part of the day.
Our guided safaris only depart after you enjoyed a
hearty traditional breakfast - so there is no need to
get up early, perfect to catch up on those lost hours of
sleep. Please visit our
activity page for more
details….
